Saint Mary of the Lake
PRAYER
THE CHAPLET
Attend the Chaplet of Divine Mercy offered at St, Mary of the Lake on the first Sunday of the month. Take a picture of the Divine Mercy portrait in the church. As a follow up, watch the Chaplet of Divine Mercy each day for a week at 3:00 PM on EWTN.
THE PRAYER
Find the list of Catholic Prayers on the parish website. Memorize a prayer that you don’t know. Recite it for a friend. Write or type it to test your knowledge.
THE ROSARY
Pray the rosary daily for one week. Invite another person to pray it with you. Take a picture of your rosary.
THE BLESSING
Say grace before every meal for one week. Then spend one minute in silent prayer for a special intention before you eat. Make the Friday of the week you choose a day of personal fasting and abstinence. Ask your family to do this activity with you. Take pictures of the family saying grace.
THE NOVENA
Research novenas at http://www.ewtn.com/Devotionals/prayers/novena.htm . Say a novena to one of the saints listed. Make a note of the special intention of your novena.
THE STATIONS
Pray the Stations of the Cross in your home church. Meditate on the Lord’s Passion. Invite a friend to go with you and take pictures.
